What was done deliberately

Text contrast is measured rather than assumed. A script walks every rendered page in a real browser, reads the computed colour of each text node against its actual background, and fails the build on anything below the WCAG AA threshold for its size. That check has caught real defects on sibling builds — including an accent colour that was fine on a dark ground and unreadable on a white one.

Every page has exactly one h1 and a heading order that does not skip levels. Every image carries alt text written for its context, and decorative images carry empty alt so a screen reader passes over them. Every image and video declares its width and height, so the page does not jump while it loads.

The site is operable from a keyboard: there is a skip link to the main content, focus is visible throughout rather than suppressed, the navigation menu and the mobile drawer can be opened and closed without a mouse, and the drawer traps focus while it is open and returns it afterwards. Expandable answers are real details elements, so they work before any script runs.

Nothing on this site depends on JavaScript to be readable. The hero video is decorative, muted, and hidden from assistive technology; it is not the only place any information appears.

Colour and motion

No information is conveyed by colour alone — warnings carry an icon and a heading as well as a tint. The type scale is set in relative units and the layout survives being zoomed to 200 per cent. There is nothing that flashes, and the only motion is a slow decorative loop in the page header, which the browser's reduced-motion preference suppresses.

What has not been tested

This is the part most accessibility statements leave out. The site has not been tested with a real screen reader by somebody who uses one daily. It has not been tested with voice control software, or with a switch device, or by anybody with a cognitive disability reading it for comprehension rather than for correctness.

Automated checks and careful construction catch a useful proportion of problems and they do not substitute for that. Saying so seems better than implying a level of assurance nobody here has actually earned.
